This splendid wine from the Western Cape is zippy and fresh with tropical fruit aromas jumping out of the glass. Notes of melon, passion fruit and guava make this wine absolutely moreish. Complements seafood, sushi, pasta, chicken, and veal dishes.

Winemaking:

Planted in a mineral rich soil that is high in organic matter. Grapes are picked in the early hours of the morning and treated reductively to preserve freshness and protect the aromatics from the very start of the process. Spontaneous fermentation and maturation on the lees for 4 months in stainless steel tanks.

A brilliant Southern hemisphere Sauvignon Blanc. Low acidity, soft cantelope with a hint of honey on the nose, and mineral with a dash of grapefruit on the palate rounded off with a gentle creaminess on the tongue. A great sipping wine or paired with food. Finally, I recommend you watch the documentary “Blind Ambition” which features this remarkable winemaker/sommelier.

this is SUCH a lovely and simple sauv blanc. no crazy aroma. grass melon green apple. so light on the pallet you can barely taste. very simple but i love it for a white. feel like i’m on the african sahara drinking it. and wait .. hello bubble gum !!!!

Tropical fruit. Light. Jumps in your nose. Amazing for the price.

Great wine and exciting producer. Doing some amazing things in the wine industry. melon apple stone fruits passion fruit. Nice fresh acidity not to overpowering for the fruit. It’s what summer is made of.
